Visitors to many of the Czech Republic's summer music festivals won't only experience concerts and stands full of wonderful food this year.

In cooperation with the organizers of 10 of these events, the MOFFOM (Music on Film - Film on Music) international festival of music films has put together a rich assortment of movies from its annual selection.

The marathon begins on May 30th, at the Reggae Meeting festival, and continues with United Islands of Prague, Rock for People, and Colours of Ostrava, ending on August 24th at Hip Hop Kemp.

Among the most interesting of the many films being shown are The Pied Piper of Hützovina, about Gogol Bordello frontman Eugene Hutz; Sierra Leone's Refugee All Stars, a film about African refugees; Once, which received its premiere at last year's MOFFOM festival; the Beastie Boys documentary Awesome; I Fuckin' Shot That!; Samba!, about the Rio carnival; and Tengir-Too, Mountain Music of Kyrgyzstan, a documentary about the close relationship between man and nature in that area.

There'll also be a selection of films about New York, which will be the main focus of this year's MOFFOM festival, and some of the most interesting music videos produced by the American television channel Link TV.

A full program can be found at http://www.moffom.org/.

Where to find MOFFOM films this summer: Reggae Meeting (May 30th-31st), United Islands of Prague (June 20th-21st), Reggae Ethnic Session (June 27th-29th), Rock for People (July 3rd-5th), Mystic Sk8 Cup (July 4th-5th), Colours of Ostrava (July 11th-13th), Mighty Sounds (July 18th-20th), Sázavafest (July 31st-August 2nd), RealBeat (August 8th-9th) and Hip Hop Kemp (August 22nd-24th).

The fifth annual Music on Film - Film on Music (MOFFOM) festival takes place October 16th-20th at cinemas in the center of Prague.

As well as dozens of music-themed documentaries and feature films there'll be a extensive supporting program -- concerts, projections of silent movies with live musical accompaniment, video clips, discussion session with international directors, and more.
