Zombieland is one of those American comedies that will make you laugh if you don't stop to think about it.

The film stars Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, and Abigail Breslin as the survivors of a zombie apocalypse.

Together they take an extended road trip in an attempt to find a sanctuary free from zombies, following a set of "rules" designed to keep them alive where others have failed, all while trying to "enjoy the little things," and killing zombies in a variety of creative ways.

Columbus (Eisenberg) is one of Hollywood's stereotypical teenage losers, with no friends, no social life and, of course, no experience with women.

Tallahassee (Harrelson) is a Twinkies-obsessed wild man hiding a sad story -- that he lost his son to zombies.

The girls, Wichita (Stone) and her younger sister Little Rock (Breslin), use Wichita's beauty to take advantage of men but are good at heart and, as the film progresses, a romance develops between Wichita and Columbus.

The characters don't use each others' real names, instead identifying themselves by a place name -- Columbus, Tallahassee, Wichita, Little Rock -- that relates to them. This includes Columbus's neighbor, 406, who's named after his room, and his fictional sexual conquest, Beverly Hills.

There's also a funny cameo from a major Hollywood star, playing himself.

As a film, Zombieland doesn't have a lot to say but some of the jokes are funny and, if you just want to spend a fun evening with friends, it could be a good option.

Don't expect too much of a story or anything intellectually demanding -- just sit down and laugh.
