SENSIBLE ADVICE
Watch out for pickpockets
.
Acting in groups, they target trams, metros and other crowded places. Be particularly careful on trams 14, 17, 22 and 23. Be aware of your belongings in other public places too.

Don't hail taxis on the street.
Either ask a Czech person to call you a cab or call one of the city's more reputable English-speaking companies. Try AAA at (+420) 222 333 222 or City Taxi at (+420) 257 257 257.

On the city's public transport system, make sure you've bought and stamped a valid ticket before you travel. Carefully check the English-language information on ticket vending machines (in all metro stations and at some tram stops).
