Three Czechs buy tickets to space

Three Czechs have bought tickets for a three-hour trip to space, worth some 3 million crowns, in a spaceship that the U.S. company Virgin Galactic officially presented in the United States on Monday, the daily Mlada fronta Dnes (MfD) reported Wednesday.

Taxi Driver Had 0.5% Blood Alcohol Content

In the early hours of Tuesday morning, Prague traffic cops pulled over an off-duty Halotaxi driver with a blood-alcohol content of 0.512 percent — theoretically enough to kill a man.
The driver, who had an empty bottle of Fernet Citrus on his passenger seat, was taken to hospital for observation and will probably lose his license.

Prague Public Drinking Ban

From today (July 7th), a new law comes into effect banning the drinking of alcohol in various public areas of Prague.
It is now no longer legal to drink alcohol within 100 meters (109 yards) of metro station entrances, schools, medical institutions, and children’s playgrounds.
