BRNO’S HODEK BREAKS HIS LEG
Brno’s new signing Andrej Hodek will be out of action for several weeks after breaking his leg on Monday.
An X-ray examination confirmed that the 27-year-old Slovak forward fractured a bone in his leg in a training ground collision.
Hodek, who joined Brno from MFK Petrzalka in the winter break, scored for Brno in their 2-0 win over Slovacko on Saturday.
SLAVIA’S HLOUSEK UNDERGOES KNEE OP
As expected, Slavia Praha player Adam Hlousek underwent surgery on an injured knee ligament on Monday.
The operation, carried out in Augsburg, Germany, appears to have been successful but the versatile 21-year-old is still expected to be out of action for at least six months.
