Vinobraní 2012

Vinobraní - wine festival - marks the grape harvest. It is a favourite celebration happening in many towns across the Czech Republic during September. The typical elements of wine festivals include traditional costumes and dancing, dulcimer music and a Renaissance Fair-style atmosphere. Vinobraní is sometimes combined with a music festival.

But most importantly, the visitors get to taste the best of the Czech and Moravian wines and burčák (young wine).

And while great wine is typically atributed to the region of Moravia, you can definitely experience great vinobarní in Prague as well.
