Prague Youth Theatre is now enrolling for September 2014
PYT will be holding trial sessions during September
Prague Youth Theatre (PYT) is an English speaking Youth Theatre for native and non-native English speakers aged 4 - 17. Founded in September 2011, PYT now teaches over 120 children and young people and has performed in youth theatre competitions and at the Prague Fringe Festival.
The PYT philosophy is designed to give children and young people the chance to express themselves within a dramatic medium and to develop not only their theatrical skills, but also their sense of teamwork, confidence and commitment.
PYT offers its students the opportunity -
• To express themselves through a dramatic medium
• To work with professional actors, directors and technicians
• To take responsibility for themselves as individuals and as members of a team
• To gain experience in areas other than that provided through education
During the PYT season, students will perform in at least two major productions and will cover a wide range of theatrical skills. These may include:
• Stage Fighting
• Acting for TV and Film
• Clowning and Physical Comedy
• The Art of Devising
• And many, many more…!
