Prague Farmers' Markets 6 Days a Week

Enjoy fresh produce from local farms Monday through Saturday

Prague has a great selection of farmers' markets that offer fresh foods from local farms. Shopping at these markets helps out small scale farmers and it saves money and resources on imports. You can chose from a variety of markets around the city to stock up on healthy and quality groceries.

Monday:

Holešovice Markets: Located in Holešovické and open Monday – Friday 8:00 – 17:00 and Saturday 8:00 – 13:00. Hall 22 has a large space for stalls that sell a variety of fresh products from local farmers.

Farmers' Market at Republic Square: Enjoy the market at Náměstí Republiky open Monday – Friday 9:00 – 18:00. You can relax and sit at the long tables while drinking microbrewery beers and finger food. Discover a unique combination of Old Town Square style tourist food and fresh produce typical for farmer markets.

Tuesday:

Kubánské náměstí: Tuesdays and Thursdays 8:00 – 18:00 and Saturday 8:00 – 14:00, the Cuban Square hosts a small farmers' market. Prague 10 was actually the first area of the city to begin returning farmers and their products to the city center.

Dvur Kobylisy: Open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays 9:00 – 18:00, Dvur Kobylisy organizes a variety of events including the farmers' market. With local produce as well as Slovakian dairy specialties – the Czech website has links directly to each producer and farm.

Wednesday:

Farmers' Markets at Pankrác: Every Wednesday 8:00 – 18:00 you can enjoy fresh veggies and other local produce right outside Pankrác metro stop. They don’t have their own website but you can find out more about them on their website.

Jiřího z Poděbrad: Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 8:00 – 18:00 and Saturday 8:00 – 14:00 you can come and find fresh veggies, meats, fish and much more. Organized by Farmářské tržiště, this market is special because all products are free of palm olive because its production is harmful to the environment. All stands use alternatives such as sunflower or beet oils.

Thursday:

Farmers' Market Karlín: Every Thursday 9:00 – 18:00 and Saturday 8:00 – 14:00 you can stock up on groceries in a growing district of Prague: Karlín. All the classical farmer market’s stalls will be available as well as food to go including burgers, waffles, veggie snacks and much more. Find out more about the market on their Czech website.

Friday:

Farmers' Market Anděl: Every Friday 7:00 – 19:00 you can find a small farmer’s market just outside of Anděl metro stop. This is a great spot to stock up on capers or grab a cupcake. This is one of the earliest opening markets perfect for those with want to go shopping before work. They do not have their own website, but you can read more about them here:

Saturday:

Na Kulaťáku – by the Dejvická roundabout: Every Saturday 8:00 – 14:00 you can enjoy a whole variety of products from local farmers. This year it will be the largest farmer’s market in Prague. You can buy baked goods, fresh meats and fish, fairy products and even fresh flowers. You can find beers from microbreweries, bio wine from Moravian wineries and you can also just stop buy for coffee or some food to go.
