Who to keep an eye on from Team CZ
The 2012 Summer Olympic Games, officially the Games of the XXX Olympiad, are scheduled to take place in London from 27 July until 12 August 2012. Over 10,000 athletes from 204 National Olympic Committees are expected to participate.
UPDATE: The Czechs have won 10 medals! Three silver ones in Men's Kayak, Men's Single Sculls and Women's Doubles and three bronze ones in Women's 50m Rifle, Women's 400m Hurdles and Men's Kayak Four 1000m. Miroslava Knapková placed first in Women's Single Sculls, Barbora Špotáková won in Women's Javelin Throw, Jaroslav Kulhavý won a gold medal in Men's Cross-country Cycling and David Svoboda excelled in Men's Modern Pentathlon. Congratulations!
WHO ARE THE CZECHS TO KEEP AN EYE ON?
Women's Basketball: The Czech team has a strong shot at making the semifinals against the United States, Australia and Russia so there's a good chance the team could take home a medal.

WHERE TO WATCH:
Czech television (ČT) has the local broadcasting rights. Both ČT2 and the sports channel ČT4 will broadcast in HD. (ČT2 will steal the HD status from sister channel ČT 1 for the duration of the games. ČT4 channel will broadcast live from the London studio and ČT2 will show the collective sports and ball games. Live broadcasting will begin every day at 10:00 and run until midnight. Highlights will be shown throughout. Broadcasting begins on Friday July 27 at 21:00 for the opening ceremonies.
Other options are available on cable and satellite stations such as Eurosport.
Czech Television will offer 6 live streams on their website to show the events not covered on normal broadcast television.
