Prague Culture Shock - Public Urination
A 12-part guide to the subtle - and not-so-subtle - nuances that make the Czech capital a more memorable experience
C'mon, just do it!
Anyway, imagine that you have to pee more than you ever have before, and your harried mother, clad in tight jeans and high heels, is on her way to meet her oil-rich Russian sugar-daddy, dragging you along to play with cigarette butts on the street.
What do you do?
Well, you get her to pull your little elastic-waist jeans down while you urinate into a drain, in front of a thousand people.
This is sadly common, even in the center, so don’t be surprised if you see it, or smell the effects of it days later while you're enjoying an ice cream.
