Apollo 440 fire up their engines at Roxy on Tuesday 3rd.

Formed in 1990, Apollo 440 was conceived in Liverpool by brothers Trevor and Howard Gray, along with fellow Liverpudlian Noko.

Apollo 440 recorded their first album, Millennium Fever, released in 1994 on Apollo's own label, Stealth Sonic Recordings, distributed by Epic Records.

The band was first known for its remixes up until the release of Liquid Cool, a track off of their debut.

However, it wasn't until the success of the singles Krupa (1996) and Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Dub (1997) that their musical efforts were brought onto the international stage.

The group resurfaced in early 2000 with Getting High on Your Own Supply.

Their most recent album, Dude Descending a Staircase, was released in 2003, and they're currently working on a follow-up.
