Canadian powerhouse Cirque du Soleil comes to Prague with Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour on February 8th and 9th.

Since launching its North American leg in October 2011, the Michael Jackson Immortal World Tour has played to more than 1.5 million people, making it the highest grossing show in America. The production that unfolds inside the creative mind of Michael Jackson is on a typically enormous scale.

The director of the show, which comprises more than 60 performers and 32 songs, is Jamie King, a designer of tours for the likes of Rihanna. A fusion of tribute show, circus, rock concert and revivalist meeting, MJIWT has garnered its share of criticism—mainly that of being a concert without a star—while continuing to sell out.
