Kino Světozor is hosting the eight annual Spanish film festival, La Película, between February 19 th and 24th.

The selection of films covers a broad spectrum of genres, including box office hits as well as critically acclaimed films and documentaries, all with Czech and English subtitles.

This year, the organizers in cooperation with Museo Cada Carlos Gardel are dedicating a seperate section to Argentinean films focusing on tango, Tango Argentino.

Czech premieres include Blancanieves (a 2012 black-and-white silent Spanish drama film directed by Pablo Berger), and Carlos Reygadas’s Post tenebras lux.
