The Red Hot Chili Peppers' Stadium Arcadium tour reaches Sazka Arena, Wednesday 14th, promoting the double album of the same name.
Formed back in 1983, the Southern California funk-rockers have worked their way up from cult status to mega-stardom, taking in more than their fair share of tragedy and trauma along the way.
Now in their 40s, the Chili Peppers' have settled into middle age surprisingly well, enjoying increasing commercial success since 1991's Blood Sugar Sex Magik album nudged them into the mainstream.
Emphasizing melody and songcraft ahead of the rawer riffs and grooves of their '80s output, recent albums have sold by the million, gaining seemingly endless airplay in the process.
Live, however, expect the Chilis' old energy to come flooding back.
Support comes from UK Garage star Dizzee Rascal, whose set should also be well worth catching.

According to the Ticketpro website, as of June 6th, some tickets were still available from the Prague Tourist Center at Rytířská 12. The Sazka Ticket network, meanwhile, had a few Category III tickets still available.
