Russkaja play a rescheduled gig at Lucerna Music Bar on Thursday, February 16. As if an Austrian ska band playing Russian folk wasn't odd enough, the Vienna seven-piece throw trash metal, world jazz, funk and Zappaesque rock into the musical mix, creating a sound they describe as the "exact opposite of easy listening." Russkaja -- a portmanteau of Russia, ska and ja, the German word for "yes" -- are currently promoting their second album, 2010's Russian Voodoo. Sam Beckwith TICKET INFO TICKET PRICES START TIME: 9pm
