Description from National Marionette Theatre

The National Marionette Theatre offers the "opera of operas" - Don Giovanni - played with classical marionettes in period costumes. Don Giovanni was composed by Mozart especially for Prague, where he personally conducted its first performance in 1787 in the Theatre of Estates. This production pays homage to Mozart's time and atmosphere in the form of an authentic 18th century performance. This performance presents the original Italian version and lasts about two hours. The opera has had more than 2900 stunning performances since 1991. The show play daily except Wednesday and starts at 20:00.
