Description from Bohemia Bagel - Masná

All five Bohemia Bagel restaurants in Prague feature a wide variety of freshly baked bagels and the only refillable cup of coffee in the Czech Republic. Each serves made-to-order salads, soups, gourmet sandwiches and grilled specialties, and the delicious brownies, cheesecakes, and other desserts are straight from their own bakery.

Their home-style breakfasts include two eggs, bacon or sausage, homefries and a bagel or the classic stack of blueberry pancakes. The lunch and dinner options should satisfy any taste; the menu includes everything from a hamburger with French-fries to a pulled pork sandwich to fish and chips.

The first Bohemia Bagel Unique restaurant, located in Holesovice, also serves daily Czech specialties, has a selection of French wines and a full bar. Internet and phone service are available at some locations. And check out their original t-shirts and other souvenirs that prove you can get a good bagel somewhere besides New York City.

Very good food. The place i will always go to when feeling like a fast food special when i am in the centre of the city. I like the burgers here.

This is my local Bagel and it has all the things i would expect to find there. It can be overloaded with backpackers which can be frustrating when you just want to pick up a quick takeaway, but if you are not in a hurry it doesn't matter too much.Bohemia Bagel may cost a little more than the average, but the Czechs do not have the range of menu that Bagel does.As always you get what you pay for.

The Masna Bohemia Bagel has a wide variety of choices to eat (I settled for pancakes)and at a very reasonable price. If you are near the Old Town Square it is worth a visit and rest your feet for a while. Wi-fi is a real bonus

Have to agree with Mr.White on this one.

Yes Cafe Louvre and Slavia are really excellent places to visit but Bohemia Bagel is hardly trying to be one of those places.

It is what it is.

I enjoy visiting the Masna Bagel on my morning walks.

It does a very nice take-away at what i think are reasonable prices.

But i would say people are entitled to their opinions, including Joel.

Major rip off -- bagels hard as rocks, filled with inedible goop...

Joel, calm down. If you have lived in Prague for more than 6 months, you would know that Cafe Louvre and Cafe Slavia are not even in the same genre of restaurant as Bohemia Bagel.

Second of all, how does atmosphere (which I admit is filled with tourists and confused, yelling English-speakers) and the unavailability of WiFi have anything to do with the breakfast served?

Let me pose one question -- if everything there is 3X the "average price for anything" (a well constructed thought to be sure), then where can you find a vast variety of fresh bagels in Prague everyday (11 CZK each) for one-third of that price? Where can you find blueberry pancakes in Prague like the ones they serve? You can't.

The next time you write a PTV review, why don't you leave the Facebook nonsense out and give a real review of the place itself -- without crapping on other reviewers like you did with Emily. Uncool and highly evident of your worth in Prague. It sounds like you're long overdue for a trip back to wherever you came from...

Just not to be hypocritical in the content of this review, I highly recommend the BB in Holesovice. Much different atmosphere and equally as tasty food.

Wow Emily, you couldn't be more wrong. Where to start.

1) Bohemia Bagel is NOT the best breakfast place in the city unless you like paying 3X the average price for anything. I recommend Cafe Louvre, Cafe Slavia, or anything but Bohemia Bagel.

2) The Atmosphere is nothing like SF, in fact its more like a Wal-Mart on Black Friday (big crowds, horrible service, and bad quality).

3) Last I checked they charge you for internet access (no WiFi) and only have their own computers for your use.

My guess is you work for them or do their PR. Either way, you should be ashamed of yourself.

I think this is the oldest Bohemia Bagel in town now. The atmosphere is different from the other two. This one is much more casual. It’s often packed with tourists, but aside from that it is a great spot to have a bite to eat. For the location the prices are very reasonable. In summer they have a little outside courtyard at the back. This is also the only Bohemia Bagel featuring a children play corner, always a plus.

Bohemia Bagel is the best breakfast place in the city. Bacon, eggs, sausages, pancakes, toasted bagels, fresh coffee, fresh juice, english breakfast, american breakfast, continental breakfast, you name it they got it.

The atmosphere reminds you more of San Fran than Prague and they offer free wifi so you can catch up on the latest news while getting ready for your day.

Prices are reasonable and makes for a perfect start to your day.
