Possibly the best vegetarian restaurant in Prague. Not that I visited that many, so this is perhaps not a very impartial opinion. It is necessary to book in advance, preferably a couple of days if you want to sit in the prettier ‘Nebe’ (heaven) part of the restaurant. I didn’t know that so we got to sit in the ‘kino’ (cinema) part. It’s not bad, but the décor isn’t as pretty. The tables are very close to one another so if you want to have a very private conversation; this is not a place for you. Even though the room is very basic, the feel is comfortable and welcoming. On the plus side, the entire restaurant is non-smoking, so you will not be walking out smelling like an ashtray. We ordered two starters and the Big Lehka Hlava as our main course (selection of several dishes) and a bottle of Czech white wine from Mikulov. The waitress brought the wine and asked if we’d like an ice bucket with it. We said yes and she replied she’ll bring the tool. And tool it was, a very nice, metal, hanging table holder for a bucket, which doesn’t take up space on the floor, featuring dragon heads - brilliant. The food arrived shortly after. We had the goat cheese salad and grilled vegetable mix for starter. Both of the dishes were very tasty but also very filling. Don’t be fooled, vegetarian here doesn’t necessarily mean healthy and light. The main course consisted of a vegetable mushroom skewers, eggplant quesadillas with salsa, potatoes au gratin and a green salad. We struggled to finish it.. There is however always room for dessert so we had the chocolate fondue and Panna Cotta, which was very light and fluffy. The fondue certainly was not and despite the rather small price tag of 90 CZK, it is better suited for two people. I’ll know next time! It was really tasty though, and I bravely ate the entire thing. The bill was about half of what we normally pay for our nice dinners and the dining experience was not any worse than say at Noi, Lemon Leaf or Modra Tabul ka. I’d be very happy to go again and try out some more of their delicious vegetarian dishes.

You can't go wrong with Lehka Hlava .. vegetarian or non-vegetarian you'll always find something inspiring on the menu .. helpful staff and the venue it selves is spectacular! Don't miss out on their once a month brunches as it's delicious :)
