The AghaRTA Gang is the house band at the AghaRTA Jazz Centrum.
Originally a pick-up group formed at short notice, when the scheduled band was forced to cancel, the Gang has coalesced into a more formal arrangement, releasing their debut CD, There is Hope, in December 2008.
For this recording, the AghaRTA Gang's line-up featured keyboardist Boris Urbánek and drummer Michal Hejna of the Rhythm Desperados with saxophonist Štìpán Markoviè and double-bassist Vít Švec.
