Miloco is a theatre ensemble based in Prague, Czech Republic, dedicated to creating new and challenging physical theatre. Since 1998, Miloco has focused on building a dynamic company of international theatre artists.

Miloco’s work reflects the background and skills of its diverse, multicultural ensemble.

Rehearsals are a meeting point for actors to explore internal and external boundaries (national, cultural, linguistic, and artistic) with the aim of developing work that helps both to understand and to break down these barriers. This creates a foundation for performances that both celebrate difference (tolerance) and examine the dangers of xenophobia (prejudice). Stylistically, our highly energetic performances combine clown, live music, song, movement and improvisation. The challenge of creating theatre that is dynamic in form and relevant in content is met through the constant exploration of working methods and theatrical styles. Amidst this chaos, the constant of stories and storytelling remains the fulcrum of all our work.
