The Dancing Building (Tančící dům) is like Prague's updated version of the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

The building, completed in 1996, was designed by a partnership of Prague-based Vlado Milunić and Frank Gehry, the celebrated North American architect whose works include the Guggenheim Museum in Spain.

Tančící dům stands on a previously vacant lot where a building bombed during World War II once stood. Its postmodern Deconstructivist style stands in contrast to the century-old buildings surrounding it.

The building, made up of two components, resembles a couple dancing and was nicknamed "Fred and Ginger" after the Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire. The glass section curves into an almost perfect hourglass shape, leaning into its rounded counterpart.

Currently, the building is mainly used as office space while the top floor house a French restaurant, La Perle de Prague, and offers views of the Vltava river and Prague Castle.
