You can pay anywhere from 500 (at Wakata) - 5000 (for Trava) per.
A grand is probably reasonable estimate... |

Fred, I've been here for 11 years and the rate can go from about 1,000Kc for 3hours for a decent player to 20,000Kc for Loutka and the uper echelon of Prague's spinners. I would say the average for a good DJ is about 700Kc per hour |

Look at Roxy booking: http://www.roxy.cz/booking/index_eng.html
Also sure techno.cz has list of all promoters/djs..
Check out systems: Quadrant and Magors... |

Or you could ask some underground groups of DJs (sound systems) to play for drinks and travel expenses. I could give you some tips, depends on which kind of music you looking for.. |

Do some research to see what you're going to get though. A DJ can make or break an atmosphere in a heartbeat, and seemingly tiny variations in style will bring you a completely different crowd. Maybe do a quick tour of some of Prague's smaller DJ bars, in addition to the big clubs, and check out the crowd and the different styles. I like Wakata, XT3, Cross Club and Punto Azul. |
