HI there,
just to let you know, there is only 1 good poker room here in CZ named "GoldenPraguePoker". the company opened the first poker room 3 years ago. they run daily cash game limit and pot limit, and there are 3 weeky tournaments, just visit the site " www.goldenpraguepoker.cz" it's in Casino Hilton, (in Hilton Hotel) they have the best cash games!!! there is a free buffet at 9pm and when you play all drinks and cigarettes are free, that is just great!! |

There are poker rooms and poker competitions all over town in every major casino and beyond. You can also find private poker games to play at. Also if you go down into Karlin late on Tuesday nights you can find 'Russian roulette' style poker games where the losers end up in the bottom of the river. Its high stakes but the winner gets to keep the caravan. |

Hi Guys,
Looking to play poker on my next visit to Prague in May.
Now, I can easily find places to play, thanks to PTV, but I have a few questions :
1, I presume the games are played in Czech, so would to learn the Czech for "Call", "Raise", etc, which is no hardship at all.
2, Where do people think the best games currently are ? I am mainly interested NLTHE tournaments.
3,Post #4 concerns me a little, namely the "and when you play all drinks and cigarettes are free, that is just great!! " comment...
Is Smoking allowed at poker tables in Prague ? As a non smoker, I prefer to play at non smoking tables if at all possible. |
