Kids summer dance camp July 18-29

Come join us for this unique opportunity to explore the world of dance, expression and physical well-being in this English-language workshop. Combining elements of contemporary dance, yoga and ballet, we will explore the world of dance by expanding participants' sense of space, gravity and energy while using movement as a freeing means of expression. Appropriate for beginners as well as kids with previous exposure to dance.

A typical day:
10:00-10:30: Yoga/stretching
10:30-11:00: Ballet technique for modern dance
11:00-11:10: Break
11:10-12:00: Modern floor work and center exercises
12:00-13:00: Lunch
13:00-13:40: Themed modern class (each day a new element, ex. spiraling, arching...)
13:40-13:50: Break
13:50-14:40: Improvisation games
14:40-15:00: Guided body work (dance-oriented massage aimed at injury prevention)

Friday viewing: at the end of each week, participants' family members are welcome to come see a showcase of the week's highlights.

Dates: July 18-29, 10am to 3pm (Monday-Friday)
Ages: 9+
Location: the English International School of Prague
Price: 3500kc/week, 7500kc/two weeks, 10% sibling discount
