Beware Apple iPhone on T-Mobile

T-Mobile is (according to their website and a shopgirl) offering the iPhone only in the 8 gig version.

O2 and Vodafone both advertise both the 8 and 16 gig versions. Considering that the 8 gig will probably be the first model to get phased out, I've decided against buying it (and I'm an Apple user) from T-Mobile.

I have no idea if the 16 gig will be available from them in the future, but I have no major desire to switch to O2 or Vodafone at this time, so I guess it's not in the cards for me.
