Help with recovering data from a busted hard drive

Hi people -

I was just helping a friend solve a tech problem and thought i'd share the tips here.

He's got a busted hard drive and needs to recover very important data..

In-the-know tech ninjas around town responded to my call for help and suggested these firms...

Data recovery companies :

1. Mironet

(I was told they charge between 2000-8000)

2. Myblueday.com
