I would like to stick a "Solarni Kolektor" on my small baroque balcony, among the marigolds Lobelias and farting cupids.

Googling, I find, among a few references, these:

http://www.alter-eko.cz/en/index.php

http://www.ekotop-cb.cz/solarni-systemy.php

http://www.solarniliga.cz/profit.html

Does anybody have experience with this who could make some recommendations?

YES!!!

A few months ago I met the guy who started this company. His name is Adam and he started building solar panels at age 15, now has a great business doing it.

Unfortunately you'll have to order from a distance but check it out. They make some really innovative portable devices, too. If you talk to him, tell him steve from praha bike sent you.

And don't forget to check up on methane collectors, stick one on the cupids. I mean why not! Heat your whole house and laugh while the savings pile up!

Hi,
I can recommend you alter-eko, which you found already at google.

Thanks josefplatil. I looked at that website, and it seems that the company doesn't just sell cells, they install them and configure them into a house. My "laissez-fair" idea is to buy a small solar cell and see what happens. Does Alter-Eko do that?

Hi Letnan,
you have two choices
1) solar panel
2) fotovoltaic panel

the first is cheaper and making hot water and you can buy it and set it on the house by yourself

the second makes electricity, but it is very very very expensive, as you can see.

so...
you can buy minipanel:

for 3000 crowns and see wat happens.

But if you are looking for stylish roof, I can recommend you whole "solar system" which you can find here:

enjoy and calculate
