It's a pretty short time, but if its all you have, then I would recommend that the best thing you can see, is a small sign. It is basically white. It has the word Praha written in Bold Blaclk leters, and a large diagonal red ine through it.

This is a sign that in Czech means "the good stuff starts now".

dude. from someone who has lived outside of prague, all i can say is you are smokin crack. Sure, there is fun to be had outside of prague, but for you to imply "the good stuff starts now" only when you leave prague, you gotta lay off the pipe...

I would say, spend an afternoon doing a short day trip, maybe kutna hora & bone church... you can get there in an hour, spend 5 hours there, and be back for a decent meal at U Sadlu.

Tono Stano once said, if you will do anything in Prague, you should sleep all day, and walk the streets all night, i couldn't agree more.

I live outside of Prague and I travel in for fun - as do many others!!

Sure there is more to Czech than Prague but its a good place to start, especially if you only got a small amount of time!

What the hell............. Prague is one of the best cities in the world. Its safe at night (provided you dont get mown down by a taxi) and I have never been bored. its a little lacking in spas but if you know of any spas in Prague let me know. I have never been ot karrlovy vary but intend to this summer.
i dont think much to vaclavske namesti but staromestske square is fascinating at any time of day. Just wandering the streets is a real pleasure especially at night. Nowhere else hs the atmosphere and particuarly when I was thhere last month and it was damn cold
