Junior Accountant with Dutch

Job description

The Junior Accountant will be responsible for disbursements and ensuring we operate within payment terms with the company´s vendors. The duties will range from issuing payments to filing and organizing payment documents. The ideal candidate is someone who feels comfortable in a fast paced environment and has the drive and experience to provide quality service for the company´s key clients. This position is a professional accounting position requiring knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and financial reporting.

As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for:

• Verifying vendor accounts, entries
• Participation in reconciliation of monthly statements
• Posting account transactions
• Resolving purchase orders, invoices
• Analysing invoice and expense reports
• Comparison of system reports to balances
• Support day to day payment cycle activities
• Compile necessary reports
• Respond to vendor inquiries
• Continuously improve payment processes
