Office Administrator

Blockchain Technology Hub in Karlín is looking for a highly-motivated teammate who will be in charge of office administration. In this busy role, you’ll be responsible for the smooth running of the office, handling company administration tasks and planning and organizing meet up and other events.


Core Responsibilities 

  • Be the first point of contact and representative of the Blockchain Hub startup incubator.
  • Provide administrative support to optimize workflow procedures for the office.
  • Assist the Directors and colleagues by supporting them with planning and communication.
  • Manage the daily/weekly/monthly agenda for office activities and arrange meetings and appointments.
  • Develop and maintain a filing system for physical and digital resources.
  • Represent Blockchain Hub in meetings, conferences and events.
  • Be the point of reference for all queries, requests, or issues and be an integral part of the office culture, environment, and workforce.
  • Manage, organize and maintain office calendar, scheduling and reminding appointments.
  • Take initiative to make minor job-specific decisions in the absence of the Directors.
  • Make travel arrangements for the Directors and accompanying personnel which includes reservations (VISA applications, airline, car rental, local ground transportation, hotels, meals etc.)
  • Maintain office supplies and manage a budget for all office-related maintenance costs.
  • Perform other administrative duties such as payroll, legal filings, and basic accounting.
  • Provide support for the organization of meetups and other company events.



  • Proven work experience as an administrative assistant or similar role
  • Fluent Czech or Slovak language skills and fluent English
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in organizing computer files and documents
  • Familiarity with office organization, environment and decor
  • Integrity and Professionalism
  • Highly dependable and trustworthy
  • Curious person and fast learner
  • Comfortable with tech environment
