Daniel Krejbich's Memories and Premonitions Exhibit opens at Take 5 Gallery

Daniel Krejbich was born in Prague, October 16th, 1969. From 1988-97 he attended the Faculty of Architecture of Czech Technical University (ČVUT). In 1991-92 he studied figure drawings in the studio of the professor Boris Jirků at the Academy of Arts Architecture and Design in Prague. In 1992 and 1993 he studied at École Nationale d´Architecture de Strassbourg in France, focusing on furniture design.

In his paintings and drawings Daniel Krejbich focuses on figural settings with a stress on human relations and relations between man and countryside, particularly metropolitan space. Further, he depicts landscape painting and abstract painting or drawing with a common human element or the element of human creation. His most used technique is acrylic colors combined with drawing on veneered chip boards.

In 2007, Daniel Krejbich took part at the symposium SmaltArt Vitkovice 2007, a workshop in France where he presented his works in the Museum of Ostrava, Art Prague and in other projects connected with Gallery La Femme. He held an exhibition in Bratislava Gallery 13m3 and he will be presenting a selection of his work at Take 5 Gallery from Friday 19th December, 2008
