Foreigners.cz welcomes expats and locals alike to monthly MeetUp
Monthly MeetUp celebrates the exchange of culture, language and new friendship
Celebrating the exchange of culture, language and new friendship, Foreigners.cz introduces the monthly MeetUp, an exciting series of ongoing events bringing foreigners together for a chance to network and meet other expats.
"The primary purpose of the MeetUp is to provide a place for foreigners to make new friends and enjoy their life in the Czech Republic. It's not always easy to meet new people in a place where the local residents don’t speak your language,” explains Vojtěch Stehno, co-owner Foreigners.cz.
The MeetUp takes place in a very informal environment, typically in a restaurant or pub where expats will have the opportunity to try local food and drink and engage with one another. Each month the event offers something new and exciting for attendees, from icebreaker games to competitions and prizes.
“The MeetUp is also open to Czech people interested in practicing their English, or anyone who would like to meet people with different cultural backgrounds,” explains Andrea Teichmannová, co-owner Foreigners.cz. “This is mutually beneficial, as it also provides the opportunity for foreigners interested in Czech customs and culture to make local friends and networks.”
“Our motto is “understand different,” which translates to understanding and celebrating differences, this is exactly what we are all about at Foreigners.cz,” Andrea explains.
Come celebrate difference and learn something new at the next MeetUp in your city:
