Club Roxy is an unforgettable multicultural center on Prague map and a cornerstone of Czech and also European alternative culture. Together with NoD, they’ll celebrate their 25th anniversary under the name BE25 from Oct. 20 to 29 / B25 Warm Up Party, Oct. 13. Both venues will be traditionally presented as one, reminding one of the rich histories and also introducing the new attitude and visage.
Be ready for a cutting edge 10 days full of banging parties, full-on live shows, theatre performances, and exhibitions both at Roxy and NoD.the
Roxy has always been at the forefront of club culture. The stylish art-deco architecture of the former cinema, a passion for music and a sense of art have characterized the venue for the last 25 years. The previous anniversaries featured names such as Morcheeba, Solomun, Everlast, Maceo Plex, Liars, Walk of the Earth and Explosions In The Sky, and this year is going to be even bigger.
The BE25 line up represents the finest selection of foreign artists who have performed at Roxy in its history and the top contemporary projects that are shaking the current world club scene. The main stage will be taken by legendary British electronic band Goldfrapp and probably the most influential techno producer nowadays, Stephan Bodzin, with his live show. The headliners will be accompanied by the acclaimed British DJ James Zabiela, Solomun’s brother-in-arms from Diynamic label Stimming, heavy French bass and drum 'n' bass duo Dirtyphonics and the young hardcore blood Eskimo Callboy.
An important part of the anniversary will be the multi-stage night called Soundz Czech, introducing the best of the Czech alternative scene. One night, five stages and two venues — Roxy and NoD. Lenka Dusilová & Baromantika headline this year’s line up followed by Piano, Wild Tides, Lazer Viking, Sifon, Himalayan Dalai Lama, Peter Pan Complex, 1flfsoap, Ette Enaka, Fred Madison, Červen, Bratři and more.
The experimental space NoD will not be left behind. NoD will present a packed programme full of gallery exhibitions, theatre performances and video art covering the best of contemporary Czech and European artists and performers.
Together with Roxy, they will bring 10 surely unforgettable days for the liking of Prague culture lovers.
