Enter Shikari to play Lucerna

The British band is returning to Prague with the new album

The Enter Shikari concert has been moved to divadlo Archa. Tickets bought for Lucerna remain valid.

Enter Shikari will be in Prague at Lucerna Music Bar on Dec. 9, on tour in support the new album The Spark. The band has been to Prague already, most recently this summer in the Aerodrome Festival.

The Spark is the band's fifth studio album and two singles already have music videos. “Live Outside” was released in July, and the video for “Rabble Rouser” was released in September just ahead of the release of the album.

Enter Shikari frontman Rou Reynolds, calls the new album the band's most important work. After suffering from a general anxiety disorder in 2016, he found new inspiration and the band started to work on the album.

The album's genre is more like electronic rock, which is different from what the band was previously doing.

The British band formed in 1999 in St Albans, Hertfordshire, under the name Hybryd, and changed to their current name in 2005.

Their 2007 debut studio album Take to the Skies reached number four in the UK Album Chart.

Their sound is described as post-hardcore, alternative rock, experimental rock, or metalcore. It is sometimes a combination of punk rock, dubstep, and techno. The band is also considered pioneers in electronicore.

Within the framework of their 2017 European tour, Enter Shikari will visit Amsterdam, Paris, Copenhagen, Berlin, Warsaw, Vienna, and more cities.

Support comes from the English rock band Lower Than Atlantis, and punk rock British band Astroid Boys.
