Buskers Too Many Zooz are coming to Prague

7. 3. 18 @ Roxy, Prague

Too Many Zooz’s success is a great example of the strength of social media. Three years ago, the band has become famous overnight thanks to a video posted on social media by a random fan. Too Many Zooz will be playing in Czech for the first time on March 7th, 2018 in Roxy, Prague. Tickets for 495 czk are on sale on December 8th via fource.cz, GoOut.cz and Ticketpro.

Too Many Zooz band members met at the Manhattan School of Music. They started playing in the streets and in the subway to make some money. But Leo Pellegrino (baritone saxophone), Matt Doe (trumpet) and David Parks (drums) were doing so well that people started going to the subway just to see them play. When someone posted a video of one of their performances on Reddit and on YouTube back in 2014, it went viral immediately.

In 2015, the band was booked on a tour of theatres and small clubs across the United States. Another huge thing for them was collaborating with Beyonce on her latest album Lemonade and playing backup for her at her performance of Daddy Lessons on CMA Awards in 2016.

Too Many Zooz have released four EPs and one album Subway Gawds in 2016. The band goes back to the musical roots and combines old style music with the latest music trends. This kind of music is referred to as „brass house“. You can find jazz, rock, African music but also an inspiration of electroswing or EDM, strictly made without the use of any electronic effects. Come enjoy the party with Too Many Zooz to Roxy.
