Metronome schedule announced
Ticket prices will soon go up, and now you know who plays on each day
Prague's biggest summer music festival, Metronome, runs June 22 and 23 in Výstaviště. Tickets are on sale, and prices will go up after April 30.
Also as of May 1, a limited number of one-day tickets will go on sale.
The schedule has been published, so people who only want a one-day ticket now know which day to pick.
Friday, June 22, will see Massive Attack, John Cale. Tom Odell and a reunion of Sexy Dancers. The following night has The Chemical Brothers, David Byrne, a still-unannounced act and Husky Loops.
The headline acts will alternate between the Metronome Stage and the ČT Park Stage, so you don't have to choose. You can hear all of them.

If any of the headliners don't appeal, there are some smaller stages such as the Moon Stage, which stays open late for dancing, and the Radio Wave New Stage, with newer acts. There is also a fun zone with the Pendulum Stage.
Czech act Tata Bojs, celebrating 30 years, will be at the Moon Stage on Friday, and the Faithless DJ set will be there Saturday.
An innovation this year is a different layout. The two main stages are closer, so it won't be such a chore to go back and forth. In between the stages is just the food court, so people can grab a bite
More news is that the once-popular Czech act Sexy Dancers will be back after a 20-year gap. The group features Dan Bárta and Dara Rolins, along with members of JAR and Monkey Business. “At Metronome we will play in front of people after 20 years. I believe it will be worth it. As performers, we will also see concerts by our much better foreign colleagues for free,” ͟band member Roman Holý said.

The group put out one album called Butcher's on the Road (sic) and had a huge hit with the single “Slim Jim.” They won several awards in 1998 for dance music.
Another newly announced band is Superorganism, which formed in 2017 with eight members from members from the UK, Japan, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand. Ages range from 17 to 32. They play original internet-age electronically-tinged indie pop music. Their biggest hit single so far is “Everybody Wants to Be Famous.”

There are also campgrounds, a phone recharging station, showers, WiFi and barrier-free access areas.
