13 Spooky Halloween parties in Prague
Prague puts on numerous Halloween parties in the days before and after the 31st October
It’s fast approaching that time of the year when monsters, ghosts, ghouls and other scary creatures descend upon the world for one night only. That’s right, Halloween is coming up, and like nearly everywhere else in the world it’s now ‘celebrated’ in the Czech Republic too. Prague puts on numerous Halloween parties in the days before and after the 31st October, so anyone looking to get into costume and join the freaky fun should have no problem finding somewhere to relax with fellow horror lovers.
This year the legendary Monsterball will be taking place at Yes Club on Halloween night itself, Thursday 31st October. The 11th instalment of the event will see DJs, live music from rocking covers band Replay and a raffle with some excellent prizes. Everyone attending receives a free welcome drink as well as special Halloween drinks being available at the bar. A prize for the best costume on the night will also be awarded, so get crafting and expect some impressive yet terrifying outfits. Tickets cost 200 CZK in advance and 250 CZK on the door, which open at 8pm. Learn more about it here.
Bloody Sexy Halloweekend 5 at SaSaZu
The fifth edition of the massive Halloween celebrations are set to feature international DJs alongside those from the local scene over two nights, Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd November. Organised by Student Zone, Prague Never Sleeps and Jack Danini Productions, SaSaZu will be hosting the event as Damon Hall featuring Patricia Banks (Germany) and The Zombie Kids (Spain) headline both nights respectfully. As usual there will be costume contests, with 15,000 CZK in cash and over 50,000 CZK in prizes up for grabs. Tickets cost from 299 CZK per night, or more for VIP packages - www.bloodysexy.cz

The partying starts at 10pm and to find out what spooky goings on they have in store you’ll have to pop along.
Halloween Party, Radio 105.9 Rockzone at Rock Cafe
If you’d rather experience some slightly scary music on Halloween then head on down to Rock Cafe, which in connection with Radio 105.9 Rockzone is putting on a trio of heavy bands for free. Doors open at 7.30pm and admission is free.
Halloweekend in Hangar Bar
From 8pm on Thursday 31st October for three days Hangar bar will be transformed into an aeroplane disaster.
