Free yoga, pillow fights and graffiti are just the cherry on top
Ukrainian Day: Experience the magic of Ukrainian culture on Saturday April 9th at Chvalský zámek in Prague 14. Starting at 14:00 the event will feature folk dances, a taste of traditional Ukrainian delicacies and a music performance by a Czech quintet. The event will be organized by the Ukrainian Embassy and the Municipality of Prague 20.
Outdoor BBQ Party: On April 17th you can enjoy a free barbecue at Vozovna Motol. Starting at 14:00 you stroll into the park and enjoy chicken as well as grilled vegetarian bites. The free event will include activities such as football, volleyball and rugby and visitors are welcome to bring their own drinks and musical instruments.
Loop Grafficon Graffiti Jam: Barrandov bridge will be in the spot light on Sunday April 17th where creative individuals with varying levels of art experience will create art together. The event is free and the spray paint discounted: you can purchase 400ml for 75 CZK. Great music will be provided by Dj Joost and Dj Geno and food will be served off the grill.
Night Inline Skating: Starting at 19:00 on April 21st several thousand people will come together for some inline skating at Vystaviste Holesovice. The legal details are still being put together along with the map – there is a possibility that it will be moved by a few days. People of all levels are welcome to a nice relaxed ride under the stars.
Vegan Picnic at Stromovka: On April 24th over 150 people will come to Stromovka for a vegan picnic. Children, dogs, friends – everyone is welcome! Come enjoy some mouth-watering food and share your favorite recipes. Bring lots of food to share with others.
NGO Market: Forum Karlin will be hosting the annual NGO fair on Wednesday April 27th between 11:00 and 18:00. Enjoy free workshops, lectures, programs for children and various exciting activities throughout the day. Find out more on their website.
Čarodějnice at Žlutých Lázních: Burning witches is a fun event that people of all ages look forward to every year. The day long program will begin on April 30th at Žluté lázně at 14:00. Enjoy traditional sausage roasting, witch games and a children's play. The party continues until 22:00 with a DJ party, live music and more.
Free Yoga on Thursdays: Everyone is invited to the 5th season of free yoga at Letna. Starting on May 5th you can enjoy weekly Thursday yoga sessions until October 13th. Don't get lost in the maze – starting at 19:00 you will easily find yogis near the tram stop “Sparta”. The lessons are great for beginners as well as the more advanced. Bring a mat, water, your friends, your pets and most importantly a good mood.
Prague Eye Contact: For the second time in Prague history, Old Town Square will host the largest eye contact event. On May 7th between 15:00 and 17:00 you reconnect with other humans and share a moment un-interupted by technology. See for yourself if sharing eye contact with strangers in public will strengthen your sense of shared humanity in the city.
World Pillow Fight Day: Pillow fights are not just for girly sleepovers – come join a large 'global' fight on May 14th at 15:00. Taking place at Žluté lázně, the massive and funny event will once again summon many energetic people and their pillows. Goggles, dust masks and fluffy outfits are optional to wear while you brace yourself for the countdown. Live music, a DJ, sports activities and other competitions won't be missing.
