The summer is slowly coming to end but the weather in Prague still surprises us with sun and warm days. Jana Zajíce 7, Prague 7–Bubenec

A confectionery place and coffee house at once, this is Alchymista. If you go through the café to its garden, the smell of coffee and homemade cakes will embrace you and create a cozy and romantic atmosphere.

Café Neustadt

Located in the courtyard of the New Town Hall at Karlovo náměstí, Café Neustadt is a place with a great atmosphere boosted by some modern art in a historical setting.

The café has a cozy garden where you can have coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. The café is hidden from the city rush and noise, so if you want to take a calm minute in a city center, this café is ready to provide it.

The café offers soups, salads, lunch meals and desserts for good prices, and the menu is vegetarian friendly.

Kavárna Čekárna

The café located under the Vyšehrad fortress walls never stops attracting visitors with its good coffee and cozy atmosphere.

Compared to many other places, Kavárna Čekárna does not close its garden even in winter, and offers the possibility to enjoy a snack with the delicious coffee outdoors all year round.

The café has a wide variety of different types of coffee. And visitors can enjoy unusual teas, fruit sodas, ciders and different alcoholic beverages.

There is also events at Kavárna Čekárna such as poetry evenings, after which it is pleasant to have a discussion with friends, meet new people and relax after a long day.

The Café That is Looking for a Name, or Kavárna co hledá jméno, is a great meeting point and a very unusual place.

This is an unconventional cafe where you will find much more than just a good coffee and homemade desserts. This place also has a gallery, and a studio for artists, so it is a perfect choice for the creative residents of Prague.

Visitors will have an opportunity to relax in a big, somewhat cluttered yard with a cup of cappuccino or an alcoholic beverage, enjoying the sky and listening to nice melodies.

The café sometimes holds events that are definitely worth visiting. Moreover, the café offers a multifunctional room for rent, so if you are looking for a place to realize your workshop or lecture, this café is a right choice.

Kavárna Pod Lipami

Čechova 1, Prague 7–Bubenec

A visit to Kavárna Pod Lipami, or Café Under the Lindens, near Letenské náměstí, will create a good mood for you for the whole day.

You can relax for a little while in the café's garden and have a cup of coffee and cake; gluten free cakes are also available. When it gets warmer and lunchtime comes, you can take refuge under the shadows of linden trees. The café is also a good choice to meet friends in the evening after the busy day, take a breath of a fresh air while having dinner, and recharge your energy and spirit for the next day.


Moravská 18, Prague 2–Vinohrady

Monolok café is definitely one of the best concept cafes in Prague. The inner design is very classy, with light walls, and beautiful decorations. But if you take a look at the garden the café has, you will be pleasantly surprised. Tidy tables with wonderful candles, surrounded by flowers makes this place a good choice for dates and romantic evenings.

The café offers different types of high quality coffee, delicious desserts, wines and food. Monolok has its separate menu for breakfast with some unusual food combinations you are unlikely to find somewhere else such as a chocolate smoothie bowl with avocado, fresh fruit, coconut and chia seeds, which is definitely worth trying.


Vodičkova 35, Prague 1–New Town
Mon – Sat: 9:30 – 22:00; Sun: 9:30 – 20:00

Despite the fact the café is located in the Prague center, a lot of people have never noticed it. And those who have already heard about it do not know that Styl&Interier has a garden. The big yard, comfortable chairs, a lot of trees and stylish furniture make the café a perfect meeting point in the center of the city.

The café offers breakfast, sandwiches, salads, desserts and a wonderful atmosphere.
