New restaurants open at Václav Havel Airport
The food offering has expanded with the addition of Marché International
The Swiss operator of the international restaurant network Marché International continues its European expansion with two new restaurants at Terminal 1 of Václav Havel Airport Prague. Passengers after check-in can now visit the Marché Mövenpick Pasta & Salad restaurant or the smaller Zigolini Caffé & Bar concept.
Marché International will open a third outlet at the airport at the turn of the year. It will be the largest concept restaurant from Marché Mövenpick, with a choice of fresh ingredients and a wide range of dishes. It will be behind the security check on Terminal 2.
“With the arrival of Marché International, we are gaining another significant international partner in the tenants' portfolio. This will expand our offer for passengers with a completely new catering concept, bringing a globally proven and popular product based on fresh and high-quality raw ingredients to the Czech Republic,” Jiří Petržilka, executive director of non-flying business at Prague Airport, said in a press release.
“Václav Havel Airport Prague will currently be the only place in the Czech Republic where customers will meet, with restaurants from the Marché International portfolio,” he added
“The Zigolini Caffé & Bar restaurant is inspired by the atmosphere of a small Italian cafe where customers feel welcome and pampered, and where we pay close attention to detail, both in the preparation of meals and in the overall interior of the restaurant,” Pavel Barkmann, manager of new Marché International restaurants at Václav Havel Airport Prague, said
Marché International plans to open a third restaurant at Václav Havel Airport in Prague at the turn of the year. The Marché Mövenpick Restaurant at Terminal 2 will offer the atmosphere of a market in the middle of the airport, with a selection of fresh and high-quality ingredients.
The biggest attraction will probably be a vegetarian part, where customers can choose from a range of fresh salads, or they can combine the vegetarian elements according to their own preferences. The menu will also include fresh pizza, grilled delicacies
Marché International comes to the international market with catering products based on fresh raw materials and high quality. The company runs its restaurants under several brand names: Marché Mövenpick, Palavrion Grill & Bar, Mövenpick Restaurants, White Monkey and Cindy's Diner.
It has locations in 11 countries worldwide: Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Croatia, Slovenia, Singapore, Indonesia, China, Canada and now also in the Czech Republic. The restaurants are especially found at motorways, airports and select places in the city center.
Marché International is part of the Mövenpick Group based in Kemptthal, Switzerland.
