The Augustine Hotel is home to the Lichfield Café, Restaurant & Bar, one of the most stylish and elegant restaurants in the city and the ideal place to host your Christmas dinner, New Year’s Eve celebrations or any other special event.

The restaurant is named after the famous British photographer, Lord Patrick Lichfield, and is proud to be home to the only permanent exhibition of Lord Lichfield’s work outside of Lichfield Studios in London, with more than 80 of his original works on display. The restaurant features floor-to-ceiling glass walls allowing for natural daylight, and is built around two protected trees which place the diner within a natural, green environment.

Executive Chef Miroslav Grusz has designed and created a European Brasserie style menu that offers locally sourced produce and seasonal ingredients at affordable prices.

The Lichfield restaurant is available over Christmas for private parties of up to 100 people, as well as individual dinners or lunches for up to twelve. From now until Christmas the hotel offers all of its customers a special Christmas present, and gives discounted rates on both room hire and food and beverages. In addition, all guests can expect a number of treats and surprises during the Christmas season, including a traditional Christmas market and children’s St. Nicholas Day festivities.

This long-serving fine dining establishment is preparing special menus for December 24 (including a vegetarian option), December 25-26, and December 31.

The fish course of the non-vegetarian Christmas Eve menu will be Steamed cod with parsnip and leek fondant with black truffle sauce and the meat course is Filet mignon with potato terrine, onion and Brussels sprouts confit and béarnaise sauce. (The three-course December 25-26 features only the meat course.)

The "Black Tie Party" New Year's Eve menu has a fish course of Butter-poached lobster Veronique with celery puree and artichokes and a meat course of Veal tenderloin with risotto cake, glazed Jerusalem artichoke and creamy morel sauce. There's also live music, a DJ, midnight fireworks and a disco.

Kampa Group's "first real steakhouse in Prague" is treating guests to separate Christmas and New Year's Eve menus this winter.

The three-course Christmas menu features a main course of Filet mignon "surf & turf" with tiger prawns, béarnaise sauce, broccoli and potato fondant.

On New Year's Eve, diners can choose between a lavish buffet, served in the restaurant, or a three-course dinner (with a main course of Beef steak "Rossini" with foie gras, truffles, artichokes, potato terrine, and red wine sauce) served on the terrace.

This stylish riverside eatery is preparing a special Christmas menu on December 24 and a choice of buffet or four-course dinner at its "Black and White Party" on New Year's Eve.

On Christmas Eve, diners can choose between Pike perch with creamy porcini ragout, spinach spätzle and garlic foam or Turkey timbale with bacon, potato puree, green asparagus and mystery sauce as the main course.

Cihelna's four-course New Year's Eve Restaurant Menu includes a fish course of Crispy sea bass with risotto cake, eggplant caviar, tomato confit and red wine sauce and a meat course of Lamb loin with spinach spätzle, celery puree, artichokes and creamy morel sauce. Alternatively, there's a gourmet buffet in the lounge.

The Black and White Party also features a DJ, midnight fireworks, a disco after midnight, and live music.

This restaurant/jazz club, housed in one of the oldest buildings on Old Town Square, is offering special menus for Christmas (December 24 & 25) and New Year's Eve (December 31).

Christmas diners can choose a three-course meal (starter, main course, dessert) from the special menu. The price also includes a welcome drink and live music.

Maitrea, a short walk from Old Town Square, offers a special vegetarian/vegan six-course New Year's Eve menu on December 31, consisting of an aperitif, starter, soup, main course, dessert and digestif, plus a 0.2-liter glass of Chardonnay or Merlot.

(The main is vegan "fish" fillet with either béchamel goat-cheese sauce or curry sauce with tofu mayonnaise.)
