The first Restu Week, that is 17 chefs, their masterpieces and a ride with Uber

A delicious diner experience can often be disrupted by a night time ride with Prague public transportation. The gourmet guide RESTU decided to avoid this by a cooperation with the mobile application Uber. Together, they organize the first ever Restu Week festival in the week of 17th to 23rd of August. Seventeen of the top restaurants all over Prague will offer the best dishes by their chefs. New users of Uber who will make a reservation to the festival over will be provided CZK 400 discount on transportation.

Veal sweetbreads at Argument, pheasant breast in Café Colore or grilled octopus in La Bottega Gastronomica. This is just a fraction of delicacies that all foodies can taste within the first ever Restu Week festival, which is organized in August by gourmet guide RESTU.

"We did not restrict the restaurants so that all chefs can offer their very own specialties within the festival or assemble an entire menu," as introduced by Pavel Suchanek, founder of RESTU. You can taste duck foie gras from Jan Horký of Art Nouveau, who cooked even for Barack Obama, grilled chicken or squid from a rosticcerie at La Bottega Gastronomica or world famous noodles with homemade tamarind sauce by chef I Ketut Darma Linggih at the restaurant Edamame.

New users of Uber will be provided 2 free rides to the total amount of CZK 400. They just have to enter the code RESTUWEEK into the application and can take a ride to the restaurant for free. "Abroad, this model of cooperation had a great success. That's why we bring this concept to Prague,” says Bara Polachová, marketing manager of Uber.

Users of RESTU will get extra 100 points to their RESTU account for booking a table during Restu Week. Those can be used afterwards at another restaurant visit.
