Prague British School - Excellent in all areas

Great results for Prague British School in independent school inspection by ISI

In October 2015 the Prague British School underwent a full inspection carried out by the Independent School Inspectorate (ISI). ISI is an approved Inspectorate for the inspection of British International Schools under the UK Department for Education’s voluntary scheme introduced in October 2010.

The inspection judges the extent to which PBS complies with the British Government’s Standards for British Schools Overseas in the eight areas below. Each of these eight areas is graded on the following scale; ‘Excellent’, ‘Good’, Satisfactory’, ‘Unsatisfactory’.

The results of the inspection were published on Tuesday 2nd December 2015

The PBS 2015 results were as follows:

1. Pupils’ achievements, learning, attitudes and skills - Excellent
2. The contribution of the curriculum - Excellent
3. The contribution of teaching - Excellent
4. Spiritual, moral, social and cultural development - Excellent
5. Welfare, health & safety - Excellent
6. Governance - Excellent
7. Leadership & Management - Excellent
8. Links with the parents - Excellent

Having also achieved this in 2012, ISI confirmed that PBS is only the second school ever to receive two straight excellent reports. This is something of which all children, parents and staff can be immensely proud.
