Annie is no stranger to the Festival following her success with the poetry ensemble The Poetry Vandals in 04 & 05 and her performance at the British Embassy last year in front of artists from all over the globe.
The show explores the universal themes of similarities and differences of Nations, of food (especially cakes), love, smoking, Shakespeare, The Beatles and life in the swinging 60’s.
The ease with Annie delivers her poetry, her humour and her gift for holding the human condition up to the light makes for a fantastic and insightful performance.
