Transitions Online Photo Competition

Transitions Online (TOL) is pleased to announce the launch of the 2009 TOL Photo Competition.
 
The topic is "20 Years After the Fall of the Iron Curtain", and TOL encourages participants to submit photographs that best capture the changes over the past 20 years in Central and Eastern Europe.
 
You can enter photographs in four categories:
- Everyday life
- Landscapes and cityscapes
- Democracy and politics
- Industry and economy
 
PRIZES - The winner will receive a EUR 200 first prize, and three runners up will receive prizes of EUR 50.
 
SUBMISSIONS - The TOL Photo Competition is open to anyone who wishes to enter. Each entrant may submit up to four photographs. They must be in JPEG format and no larger than 3MB each. Submissions should be sent to photo@tol.org and you should state your full name, address, email address and telephone number.
 
DEADLINE - The final deadline for entries is December 13, 2009.

The organizer, Transitions Online (www.tol.org) is a website that covers social, economic and political developments in Central & Eastern Europe, the Balkans and the FSU. It is published by Transitions (TOL), a non-profit organization registered in Prague, Czech Republic.
