Come and see the best of the European new circus performances from August 19 on Letná

Do you want to enjoy the last days of summer laughing under a circus tent, laying down on the grass, talking to your friends over a glass of cold beer or listening to live music? And all that in a place where your children can play, watch shows or learn how to juggle? Then Letní letná festival is there for you! But be careful - you might not want to leave...


Letní letná is the only annual new circus festival in the Czech Republic. The program consists of over 90 performances; shows for children 5 times a day, the main shows in the evening, workshops, concerts and discussions.


There is a summer festvial camp for children from age 6 to 15. They can join from August 20 to 31, every day from 8:00 to 17:00. The kids will learn the basics of acting, juggling, and other theatre and circus related activities from professional actors.



The festival starts on August 19 and will continue till September 2. You can find it in the Letná park.



Get to know some of the shows:


Kabaret is a unique collaboration of the Czech Cirk La Putyka, Swedish Cirkus Cirkör and French Cahin Caha ensembles.


Length: 75 min





Risque Zéro is a show full of dangerous and thrilling performances by the French group Cirque Galapiat.


Length: 100 min


Suitable for children from 6 years.





La Vie - Canadian 7 Fingers ensemble, one of the world's greatest circuses, finally came to the Czech republic.


Length: 105 min
