Trance Department – On the way to Transmission
The third edition of monthly club night Trance Department will be taking place at Club Mecca
The third edition of monthly club night Trance Department will be taking place on Friday 29th November at Club Mecca and should provide the perfect warm-up to the Czech Republic’s largest indoor dance event Transmission the following evening.
The night is set to be headlined by none other than The Thrillseekers who have composed the legendary Transmix (a 15 minute pre-recorded mash-up of classics) for this year’s Transmission. The English trance DJ has been a leading light in the world dance scene for over a decade now. He recently won Single of the Month in MixMag for ‘Angel (feat. Fisher)’ and is well-known for playing ‘classic’ sets.
Russian duo Eximinds will also be performing on Friday after emerging from the EDM scene in the past two years. They have collaborated with some of the hottest names in dance including Richard Durand, Omnia and Alexander Popov, and the future looks bright for them. Trance Department’s two resident DJs will also be present. Thomas Coastline usually starts the party and is on the bill for Transmission as well, while N-Rico will be bringing things to a close with a bang.
The second stage (open from 11pm to 5am) will also have a bunch of DJs, with two-piece IB DUO heading up the stage alongside DJs Vikinz, Priest and Maicuss. All the visuals and lights will be as top class as ever, along with a photowall and a few other special surprises.
Anyone with a ticket for Transmission gets FREE entry to the night if they arrive before 11.30pm and reduced entry of 200 CZK, or 450 CZK for VIP, if they arrive after. VIP or Golden Transmission tickets allow entrance to the VIP section of Club Mecca too, so that’s essentially two VIP nights for the price of one! Otherwise tickets are 250 CZK in advance or 350 CZK on the door, with VIP tickets 450 CZK in advance or 600 CZK on the door.
Transmission takes place on Saturday 30th November at Prague’s O2 Arena with household names such as German DJ and Coldharbour label owner Markus Schulz, Ørjan Nilsen, Cosmic Gate and many more including award winning video jockeys Vision Impossible in charge of all the visuals. Trance Department – On the way to Transmission aims to build the excitement for the main event and continue its successful venture into club nights.
People who bought a ticket when the third edition of Trance Department was scheduled for the 16th November and have a ticket for Transmission will receive 250 CZK in tokens to spend at the bar. Those without a Transmission ticket cannot attend the pre-party (unless they buy a separate ticket) but instead can exchange it for entrance to Trance Department’s fourth edition on 14th December. For more information email: info@unitedmusic.cz
For those looking to enjoy Trance Department in maximum comfort and luxury, VIP table reservation is possible on the main and top floor as well as VIP boxes and the sky lounge. Upgrading from a regular Transmission ticket to a VIP one for Trance Department is possible for 250 CZK which provides priority entry to Club Mecca, a welcome drink, private deck overlooking the dance floor and a greater range of drinks.
Doors open at 10pm on Friday and the party will be over by 6am on Saturday.
