Summer Rock Festivals 2004
PTV's guide to gigging in the great outdoors, across the Czech Republic
From the punk-rock Antifest to the folkie Festival Slunce to the more experimental sounds of Boskovice, most musical bases are covered.
Occupying the middle-ground, Rock for People remains the country's biggest music festival while the newer Colours of Ostrava festival also has one of the summer's most impressive line-ups. You can also expect a mighty set from Motörhead in Trutnov and get to know one of New Zealand's biggest bands, The Feelers, at Trnkobraní.
Add to that the frankly terrifying prospect of Europe and Helloween occupying the same stage at Masters of Rock, and we're sure that adventurous music-lovers visiting the Czech Republic will be able to find some fun in the sun this summer.
