Národní Metro Station Opens on June 27th

The station has been closed for two years due to restoration

Národní Metro Station on Prague's line B will re-open on June 27th. The station has been closed for two years due to restoration. The new interior will feature golden patina and new escalators. It will be also wheelchair accessible. The opening ceremony will be held in the Národní Station on Friday, June 27th, in the afternoon.

Construction of the commercial and administrative centre Quadrio, that will be situated above the metro station, will keep going for the next couple of months. This means the entrance to the station will be situated on the corner of Spálená and Purkyňova streets for the time being.
