Prague in Depth: Shopping - Annonce
Get to know the Czech retail environment
Naturally, the notices are printed in Czech, but there's a tremendous amount of valuable information on offer, so it could be worthwhile getting some help to navigate through the ads and make the calls.
Annonce publishes three separate editions every Monday, Wednesday and Friday: "Auto/moto" ("Cars/Vehicles") "Reality/práce" ("Realty/Work") and "Hobby/kontakty" ("Hobbies/Personals").
The Saturday edition, Annonce Speciál, has a bit of everything.
It's possible that the Annonce staff save the really prime listings for themselves but I still recommend that you buy this paper first before looking elsewhere, even if just to get an idea of prices, etc. I used it to find my '93 Škoda Forman and was quite satisfied with the process and purchase.
